It may not be summer yet, but you can keep the dream of warmth alive with this fruity pisco cocktail from Eric Johnson of the Sycamore Den in San Diego. Featuring lemon juice, fresh strawberries and orgeat, the summer smash is a pisco version of a tiki cocktail.

What you need
- 2 oz. pisco
- 0.5 oz. orgeat
- 1/4 of a lemon, cut into wedges
- 2 fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
How its made
Muddle all the ingredients together in a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake for 6-8 seconds. Strain into a collins glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a strawberry slice.
