We are huge fans of the Last Word, a bold, herbaceous cocktail that traditionally uses a gin base. Death and Co. bartender Phil Ward substitutes the gin for peaty Scotch and the result is an even bolder, smokier version of the original.
What you need
- 0.75 oz. Laphroaig Scotch whisky
- 0.75 oz. maraschino liqueur
- 0.75 oz. green Chartreuse
- 0.75 oz. lime juice
How it’s made
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, then double-strain into a coupe. No garnish.
